Program Asuh Perguruan Tinggi (PT), in 2018 again carried out by the Directorate of Quality Assurance, Directorate General of Learning and Student Affairs (Belmawa) Kemenristek Dikti. This program is intended to improve the quality of higher education in Indonesia, by involving higher education institutions whose institutions are accredited A.
As a form of caring and moral responsibility, Mercu Buana University (UMB) for the second time also submitted a proposal as PT Caregiver in 2018 and again won the trust of the Ministry of Research and Technology to foster / care for Private Universities (PTS) that still have the criteria of study programs with C accreditation .
“This is the second time for UMB to win the 2018 Superior Foster College award. Previously in 2017 it also won the same award,” said UMB Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ngadino Surip, MS after receiving the 2018 Superior Foster College award in Jakarta, Thursday (December 6, 2018).
According to him, this award is proof of UMB’s dedication and hard work in implementing the PT Asuh Unggul program. It is also proof of the dedication and sincerity of UMB to encourage the improvement of the quality of education in Indonesia.
More interestingly, said the UMB Chancellor giving the best Superior Foster Care award only to five universities, namely Mercu Buana University, Brawijaya University, Syiah Kuala University, Petra Christian University, and Gadjah Mada University. This is a proud achievement.
Head of the UMB Quality Assurance Center, Ir. Desiana Vidayanti, MT added that the achievements achieved by UMB became energy to work harder. In order to assist C-accredited universities in the future, it can be better.
“Of course, this is a close collaboration between UMB and upbringing universities, so that it can provide benefits to all parties,” he concluded.
